No-holds-barred Drag Race Battle !

Last time, we shared about a "drag race" between man and machine. Now, it is a real drag race about the head-to-head battles between Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Aventador, Lexus LFA and McLaren MP4-12C. In this video, the Aventador, LFA and MP4-12C are all carbon fiber-boded super car. Can they catch up with the Veyron, which is the fastest production car in the world?

This is an advertisement from Nike in 2008. It is old but a legendary one as it features a race between the fastest production car in the world, Bugatti Veyron and perhaps the fastest man in football, Cristiano Ronaldo. Although this race is clearly for commercial purpose and not a formal scientific investigation, it still gives us an idea of what will look like for man versus machine. For all sports cars fans, try not to be too serious about this "drag race" and have fun!

Lamborghini, a world-known manufacturer of luxury sports cars, unveiled its latest production at the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show on March 5, 2013. The new car is called the Lamborghini Veneno and the name Veneno comes from one of the strongest and most aggressive fighting bulls. Veneno is the fastest road car that Lamborghini has ever built. Its V-12 engine can produce 740 horsepower which allows it to accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The extremely light weight carbon-fiber skin and the optimum aerodynamics design make Veneno as a real racing prototype. If you are rich and you are willing to pay $4.5 million for this car, it will be a sad news that you are too late! Only 3 Veneno will be built, one each in red, green and white, to symbolize the color of the Italian flag and all 3 has been sold already. In fact, the Veneno was built to mark Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary.
